Our Purpose

We raise the money so the Clearwater Composite Squadron can focus on its mission.

The Clearwater Composite Squadron Booster Club exists to strengthen, expand, and support the reach and capabilities of the Clearwater Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol.

Founded during a time of significant need — and backed by the generosity of hundreds of committed supporters — our purpose is to ensure that every cadet and senior member has the resources necessary to carry out Civil Air Patrol’s missions with excellence.

What Your Support Funds

Four programs. One squadron.

Every dollar we raise flows into the program areas that shape cadets into capable, confident leaders.

Cadet Programs

Funding for the materials, activities, and enrichment that grow youth in leadership, aerospace education, physical fitness, and character.

Color Guard

Uniforms, equipment, and training so cadets can perform ceremonial duties with professionalism and pride.

Disaster Response

Emergency supplies, training resources, and community-preparedness initiatives that keep the squadron ready.

Leadership Development

Training for cadets and adult members that builds confidence, responsibility, and strong decision-making.

Every Dollar Raised

Straight into the squadron.

As a Booster Club, our role is simple but essential. We fund the things that elevate the squadron’s ability to serve the community — and we do it so members never have to choose between a mission and a budget.

  • Educational programs and aerospace activities
  • Uniforms, and color guard equipment and training
  • Emergency supplies and disaster-response readiness
  • Quality experience trips cadets would not otherwise get
  • New equipment for the squadron
  • Leadership training for cadets and adult members

Inside the Squadron

This is what your support looks like.

Weekly meetings in Clearwater, where cadets train on the squadron’s flight simulator, build aerospace projects, and learn to lead one another.

Get Involved

Three ways to serve.

The squadron is built from cadets, the adults who mentor them, and the educators who bring aerospace back to the classroom.

Ages 12–18

Join as a Cadet

Learn to lead, fly, hike, camp, and push yourself to new limits through a year-round program built on leadership, aerospace education, fitness, and character.

Adults

Volunteer as a Senior Member

Fewer than one-fifth of CAP’s adult volunteers are aircrew. Squadrons run on people from every background — administration, logistics, finance, communications, and mentorship.

Teachers

Join as an Educator

Aerospace Education Members receive free K–12 STEM curriculum, hands-on STEM Kits, and the chance to fly a teacher orientation flight in a CAP Cessna.

Support the Squadron

Fund the next generation of leaders.

Your gift buys the uniform, the equipment, the training, and the trip — the things that turn a curious twelve-year-old into a confident young leader. Every dollar stays with the Clearwater Composite Squadron.
